I got my 06 MR for 15k…. was a repo with a couple problems but well worth the work. Got the HP and the handling for way less.
Got my RA for 24k and tuned it for free and ran stock Evo times at the drag 13.7 plus I got AWD. Thats my best can’t afford an evo solution

@CHANNELgr The problem with your plan is that an evo is not just the HP. There is alot more that would have to be done. Buy one used and youll be much happier with your decision.

I get what their saying. Buy a gts for 20000 and put down 4 grand for the turbo tune it a little and it gets very close to an evo with 270 hp, only 20 hp away from the evo.When the ralliart is 4000 more, and with 240 hp. What there trying to say is if you cant afford a evo u can get very close ,without spending a lot of money. Thats my plan and its gonna be worth it.

yeah, FWD sucks cuz it has torque steer with too much power but the base lancer is alot lighter than an evo and probably ralliart too. i’d still buy the ralliart cuz AWD’S great for shit weather like chicago has.

The FQ 330 would take this lancer. So why would you think about putting this against the 400? He was referring to the base Evo.
why not just buy a ralliart lancer? with a ralliart you still have a warranty and AWD, not FWD.
Im really not understanding Road Racing people here. Ok you buy a Lancer lets say the lowest for a good price of 15 grand…your spending almost 10 grand on upgrades to make the car look good and perform better with turbocharging it and turning, and suspension kit and w/e else you want to do with it. Thats over 20 grand…fuck it just get a Lancer Ralliart /w AWD system and already turboed…these people are stupid.
okay so did any1 else realize that this lancer does not have their exhaust they greatly advertise on their site the RRM Magnaflow… they have their own custom exhaust coming out of the center… i dont no if that bothers any1 else… but it bothers me…
lilnug..lol……do you know what percentage of road race cars are awd…its incredibly low theres are reason for it, its called understeer, make negative comments when you’ve had your license for more than a couple years, i was just like you at one time(car wise i mean). and no i don’t own a lancer or evo, impressive cars though.
