The New Ferrari Vega… It’ll Leave the Competition Fuming

An exciting new addition to the already successful Ferrari range of models has just been unveiled to the UK market by Lamberhurst Engineering, the UK distributor of Ferrari tractors.

Like all Ferrari products, the New Vega EP series stands out from its competitors thanks to its quality and high level performance. The new models have been created with high performance engines and greatly reduced emissions, gearboxes that are suitable for a range of uses and an increase in reliability and functionality.

The new Ferrari Vega EP series, available in six models â?? AR, RS, MT, DUALSTEER®, SDT â?? RS & SDT – DUALSTEER®, with three engine sizes from 70HP to 91HP are all available with 32 speeds â?? 16 forward and 16 reverse with a synchronized reverser, without overlapping speeds in the various ranges allows the user to adapt ratios to specific needs in any given situation.

The new models have some outstanding features including a platform to reduce noise and vibrations, fully homologated cabins, hydraulic pump, PTO clutch activated electro-hydraulically with brake, electro-hydraulically controlled insertion of front wheel drive, disc brake in oil bath on all four wheels, â??BRAKE-OFFâ?? automatic hand brake, and many more new features.

Andrew Fuller, Director of Lamberhurst Engineering comments â??The new Vega EP series will sit nicely alongside the other already successful Ferrari models. With the tighter EU emission laws, the new model and engine have been developed to recycle the exhaust gasses which, when mixed, return to the combustion chamber which drastically reduces the fuel consumption and more importantly emissions.â?

The Vega EP Series is on sale in the UK exclusively from Lamberhurst Engineering. For more information, please contact 08456 121 141 or visit their new website on www.lameng.com

When it comes to style, this laptop is above it all. All the funs of Ferrari motor sport enjoy this type of laptop to the fullest. Whyâ?¦â?¦.. This notebook also has an Integrated Video Display Card- AMD and also sports an internal modem. Formula One – Mclaren and Ferrari United as One

The former arch rivals have decided to have a close working and professional relationship to show the powers that be of Formula One of their united stand as the racing teams led by the two rivals formed a group that shall look after the teams’ interests. The Formula One Teams Association (FOTA) was set up to represent the teams in negotiations with the governing FIA (International Automobile Federation) and commercial head honcho Bernie Ecclestone. Fota are headed by Ferrari president and Ecclestone critic Luca de Montezemelo.

McLaren top executive Ron Dennis decribed the two teams ties as profound and admitted that he did not foresee the rivals eventually joining hands. Ferrari spokesman Luca Colajanni visited McLaren’s Woking factory to meet the staff and Dennis. I guess with this newly formed relationship, it was but natural that executives from each side visit each others’ headquarters.

The two teams turbulent past reached its climax two years ago when Ferrari accused McLaren of possessing important technical data of its cars. McLaren was fined $100 million and stripped of all its constructors’ points. Not satisfied, Ferrari took legal action against McLaren with Dennis and other top officers interrogated by Italian police. Ferrari dropped all action though when McLaren issued an apology.

This season, FIA head Max Mosely has implemented new rules in Formula One, shaking up its present structure with the primary goal of cutting operational costs,  perhaps standardizing engines. For its part, FOTA will be responsible for all the teams’ interests. It shall provide the voice for all the teams.

All the teams do agree that the new rules may have provided each and eveyone significant savings in operatinal costs not only in this season but the future as well, FOTA are negotiating that the teams shall have a greater share in the commercial revenues than what they have at the moment which is peg at 50%.

Montezemelo said that Dennis, who shall concentrate on FOTA after divesting himself of the day-to-day operations of the McLaren Racing Team, is a first-class person with a first-class team. He further added that Formula One needed great competition on the track and great unity off the track.

Formula One teams found it necessary to form a group after the financial crisis hit most of the major economies. It also affected major teams like Honda as they placed their team up for sale. The radical changes in the rules have been approved first by FOTA before it was actually implemented for this season. FOTA intends to keep the teams work together for the advancement of Formula One as they continuously seek ways and innovative ideas that shall improve the sport. They also would like to address the issues confronting men nowadays like making the cars more affordable and environment friendly.

I just hope that Ferrari and McLaren do keep their partnership lasting. For the sake of the other teams.

Porsche Or Ferrari – What You Need To Know.

Porsche and Ferrari are German and Italian sides of the same coin, interpretations of the sports car idea. Both founded by a dominant patriarch, both honed in racing, both more than 50 years old, both with engineering and styling integrity. Whether on the track of Le Mains or on the streets, the two have always been put head-to-head and compared. Even the most naive motorist associates these two names with both performance and style.

We’ve decided to compare the methodical Porsche 911 Carrera 4S and the passionate Ferrari F430 because both of them astonish with their performance while attempting to maintain a reasonable amount of practicality but do not pretend to be anything other than sports cars.

A modern sports car should feature these characteristics: it should be started easily, maneuvered around town, blasted on a couple of country roads, it looks and performs the part on a racetrack but at the same time it is very safe.

The easier way to separate the two cars is by measuring figures since both of them have mastered the modern sports car requirements and basically there’s no other way to choose between these two phenomenal cars.

What initially impresses is Ferrari’s lightning fast 4-second 0-100km/h acceleration and thrilling exhaust tone. As the occupants are pinned to the seats, the new generation 4.3-litre V8 pushes out 368 snarling kilowatts. Porsche’s acceleration also offers that kick in the pants a super car should deliver, although it is 0.8 seconds slower at the 100 km/k mark.

With such acceleration performance, it comes natural for both cars to excel in the braking department. The two cars offer optional ceramic discs for impressive stopping.

Porsche’s engine gets the upper hand as it is more refined and on the economy rank leaps ahead Ferrari with a 11.8 liters per 100 km as opposed to 18.3 liters. Both cars deliver the power through impressive 6-speed gearboxes and offer top rate handling performance.

Both F430 and Carrera4S offer great interior comfort and even if the space is limited, the occupants don’t feel claustrophobic and flustered. Although an impressive mix of suede, carbon fiber and aluminum abound in the Ferrari, the Italians stand no chance when it comes to the high finish level attained by the Germans.

Speed and silence are key elements for any super car. The look and appearance is the biggest draw card. The Carrera 4S is a typical Porsche, despite the new proportions. It is a great looking car, like any other 911 but somehow the styling no longer creates the jaw dropping reaction that the Ferrari does. Indeed, traditionalists may say that Porsche pays homage to its roots, but the truth is that Ferrari F430 simply draws the attention.

However, even if Ferrari F430 takes your breath away with its appearance, the super car title goes to the Porsche Carrera 4S with a more complete all round package.

Having spent months of research on different subjects, for independant companies, Andrew Manifield has decided to publish his articles on many subjects at his own website, visit to learn more.
