The special edition Ferrari Superamerica, which was previously launched by the automaker, has maintained its hypnotic charm and prowess. Up until now, the stunner car with the convertible concept still injects fascination among enthusiasts and critics.
Superamerica uses 12-cylinder power that has a ground-breaking spin on its convertible roof. Ferrari Superamerica is derived from the 575M Maranello from the 575M Maranello. However, it features all-new electrochromatic glass roof with a patented rotating function. Said glass roof was developed through the cooperation of Saint Gobain. The glass roof gives the driver the discretion to choose the amount of light to enter the cockpit area with just one touch of a button. The roof, on the other hand, can also be detached by rotating it backwards into a flat position on the rear deck.
The elegant roof of Superamerica is dubbed as ‘Revocromico’. Said name is used to emphasize the glass technology used as well as its rearward rotation movement. Moreover, the roof can be operated effortlessly. In fact, it can be fully opened in a matter of 10 seconds.
The Pininfarina badge was also incorporated in the car. Same is located on the rear buttresses. Ferrari’s renowned carbon brakes is also included in the car. On the other hand, the power of this car has also been increased from 515bhp to 540bhp to ensure satisfying performance and acceleration.
With regards to loading capabilities, the car’s luggage space in its rear portion was not altered. This is because the carbon-fibre and glass roof was positioned at rear part of the driver and the passenger. The window also remained in its original position.
Other astounding parts of Superamerica are its wheels. The wheels are supplied by Bridgestone Corporation, which is the parent company of Tennessee-based Bridgestone Americas Holding, Inc. Grand Prix is the fifth album by British alternative rock band Teenage Fanclub, released in May 1995 via Creation Records. Writing for The Independent in June 1995, Angela Lewis described Grand Prix as a “breathtakingly superb (album) with finely honed dynamics, nagging harmonies and deceptively simple lyrics” In 2000, Q magazine placed Grand Prix at number 72 in its list of the 100 Greatest British Albums Ever,[citation needed] and in 2004 it made #72 on The Observer Music Monthly’s top 100 British albums list. The now-defunct Formula One racing team Simtek provided the car that appears on the front cover.
a classic: 1979, dijon, arnoux on renault against villeneuve on ferrari. who really cared about the winner? best formula 1 duel ever. commented by the mighty murray walker. a must see for everybody.
Ferrari always used racetracks for testing new concepts, cars and technology in their race cars and after few years these cars and technologies appeared on the roads. So it is a new Ferrari Enzo, a pure sports car named after ferrari company founder – Enzo Ferrari. He felt that best road sports cars should be created from race cars. New Enzo has all its technology from F1 racing. There were used advanced composite materials for bodywork. Some of it parts are made of carbon fibre sandvich panels and Nomex. These materials helped designers to create a fantastic style while they were able to keep its weight to minimum. Aero dynamics were made to meet tough criteria to be able to maintain a very high top speed of 350km/h and over, so they had to increase a downforce of the car. Enzos engine is 12 cylinder with a capacity of 5,998 cc. The goals set for this engine were met fully and now it supplies a blend of high power and torque from low speed. It is possible to keep a power of 110bhp/litre out of the engine. The enzo chassis is built of carbon fibre and aluminium sandwich panels. Torsion ridigity was proven to be higher than it was targeted. Also chassis weight is decreased considerably to 92 kg. Compared to the previous composite model of F50 which was 102 kg. The new Ferrari Enzo was given an independent rear and front suspension with double wish bones and geometries and adaptive set up. Braking system is by Brembo.
